Augustin was placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols Sunday, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.
Augustin is the first member of the Rockets to be placed into the league's COVID-19 protocol and certainly may not be the last. The 34-year-old guard has been averaging 5.4 points, 2.3 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 14.9 minutes per game. His absence should allow for Armoni Brooks to see some more minutes off the bench.
