ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said "John Wall has expressed his hopes to the organization that he can resume playing" on Saturday.
Two months ago, the Rockets and Wall agreed he would not play while searching for a potential trade partner. The latter wants to play again after receiving little interest from teams since then. However, Wall may not get the playing time he desires. The rebuilding Rockets could be better off maximizing playing time for their young guard duo of Kevin Porter and Jalen Green.
