Cissoko posted 15 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and four rebounds across 23 minutes off the bench in Thursday's 129-107 preseason loss to the Rockets.
Cissoko was one of three Spurs who scored at least 15 points, with Stephon Castle and Malaki Branham being the others. However, this might not be enough to give Cissoko a steady role in the rotation, especially in a crowded backcourt, so he will probably open the regular season in the G League with the Austin Spurs.
