Hopson and the Thunder agreed Monday on a 10-day contract, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Along with Hopson, the Thunder will bring aboard center Olivier Sarr and wing Rob Edwards from their G League affiliate with five players (Darius Bazley, Tre Mann, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Aleksej Pokusevski and Josh Giddey) on the NBA roster in the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols as of Tuesday. Oklahoma City still has 11 other healthy players available heading into Tuesday's game in Sacramento, so none of Hopson, Sarr or Edwards are guaranteed to slide into the rotation immediately. Hopson, a 6-foot-7 wing, has averaged 6.4 points in 11 games this season for the Oklahoma City Blue. He last appeared in the NBA in 2017-18, when he saw action in one game for Dallas.
