Aldrich signed a three-year, $22 million contract with the Timberwolves on Sunday, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports.

Aldrich, who is originally from Minnesota, will head home when this deal becomes finalized, making him another solid frontcourt depth option for the Timberwolves. However, we should know more about how coach Tom Thibodeau plans to use him once training camp rolls around.
