Russell posted 22 points (7-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds and four assists over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 109-107 victory over the Trail Blazers.
Russell got lucky with a borderline goaltending call on Anfernee Simons, who appeared to block Russell's game-winning shot attempt. In the final seconds, the call went Minnesota's way, yielding the narrow victory. After posting a double-double in the previous game, Russell's assist total suffered due to an excellent performance by Anthony Edwards, who is adept at creating his own opportunities.
