Lillard is expected to rest Tuesday against the Pistons, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

Lillard has failed to eclipse 20-plus points in back-to-back games and is shooting just 39.7 percent from the field and 30.2 percent from three on the season. The star point guard is expected to sit out the second game of the Blazers' back-to-back Tuesday, but he will likely be back in action Thursday against the Spurs. Anfernee Simons, who posted a season-high 24 points Monday, will likely slide into the starting lineup in place of Lillard, while Dennis Smith could see an increased role off the bench.
