Smith (COVID-19) has cleared the NBA's health and safety protocols and is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Lakers, Jay Allen of NBC Sports Northwest Rip City Radio 620 reports.
Smith and teammate Ben McLemore were both able to clear protocols Thursday and will rejoin the team ahead of Friday's game against the Lakers. Smith should be expected to serve as Damian Lillard's top backup for the time being after Anfernee Simons landed in health and safety protocols earlier in the day.
