Avdija has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Bulls with a right knee contusion.
The Wizards initially cleared Avdija to play, only to make him a late scratch shortly before the 8 p.m. ET tipoff. With Avdija sidelined, the Wizards will start Corey Kispert in his place. Washington could get Avdija back for the second leg of a back-to-back set Sunday versus the Celtics.
