Dudley was ejected from Saturday's game against Philadelphia, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Dudley was ejected after getting into a shoving match with Jimmy Butler midway through the third quarter of Game 4 in Brooklyn. Barring any further punishment, Dudley should return for Game 5 on Tuesday.
Dudley will start Saturday's Game 4 against the 76ers, Marc Narducci of the Philadelphia Iquirer reports. Coach Kenny Atkinson will send Rodions Kurucs to the bench in favor of Dudley. Dudley failed to score in 17 minutes during Game 3.
Dudley had zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one rebound in 17 minutes during Thursday's 131-115 Game 3 loss to the 76ers. Dudley returned to the lineup following a one-game absence due to calf soreness. It wasn't the most encouraging return to action, as he finished with more turnovers (two) than anything else. Still, it seems likely that Dudley will suit up again for Saturday's Game 4.
Dudley (calf) will play during Thursday's Game 3 against the 76ers, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Right calf soreness prevented the veteran from playing in Game 2, but he's all set to go for Game 3. During Game 1, he played a significant role, seeing 28 minutes and posting four points, four assists and one steal.
Dudley (calf) has been ruled out of Monday's Game 2 in their first-round playoff matchup against the 76ers, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Dudley saw 28 minutes in Game 1 Saturday, so his absence will change the Nets' rotation. In his absence, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Treveon Graham will likely see larger roles off the bench, with DeMarre Carroll and Rodions Kurucs possibly seeing larger roles as well. At this time, Dudley should be considered questionable for Thursday's Game 3, with more information on his status coming out closer to then.
