Arthur will undergo a Regenokine treatment in Germany for his left knee 'soon', Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports. After dealing with knee issues for the majority of the year and playing in just 41 games last season, Arthur has decided to undergo an anti-inflammatory treatment for his knee. The 29-year-old forward averaged 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 15.6 minutes per game during the 2016-17 campaign.
Arthur supplied nine points (3-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt) and three rebounds across 17 minutes in a 109-91 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday. Arthur had been available for the last few games after a sore knee that sidelined him in late March, but he didn't return to the rotation until Tuesday with the Nuggets holding out five players for rest or injury. The forward lived almost exclusively from beyond the arc in the outing, drilling three of the team's 18 three-pointers. The Nuggets could be without as many as six players again Wednesday against the Thunder in the season finale, but don't expect Arthur to see much of an uptick in playing time from what he received in the front end of the back-to-back set.
Arthur (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's tilt with the Pelicans, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports. Arthur was cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Rockets, but didn't touch the floor in his return. It remains to be see if it was injury related or if he's just fallen completely out of the rotation, but once again, he should be available to play Friday. Arthur appears to be stuck in a very minor role off the bench, which severely limits his overall fantasy production over the last four games of the regular season.
Arthur (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against the Rockets, ESPN's Calvin Watkins reports. Arthur missed the last four games with a sore left knee but is now ready to take the court. However, across eight game appearances since the start of March, the Kansas product has averaged just 12.6 minutes per game and may not even reach that mark Wednesday coming off a multi-game absence.
Arthur (knee) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports. Arthur has missed the last four games with a sore left knee, but it appears he's finally made enough progress to make a return to the court. If all goes well during pregame warmups, look for Arthur to be available off the bench Wednesday, although he usually doesn't see enough minutes to have any significant fantasy impact.
