Carter-Williams finished with 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six boards, five assists, and one block in 30 minutes of a 105-93 loss to Detroit on Tuesday. Carter-Williams finished with his third-highest scoring total of the season, notching his best shooting percentage since December. While not a consistent scorer, Carter-Williams is averaging more than five assists per game in February. He'll play the Nets on Thursday.

Carter-Williams totaled 14 points (5-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four assists and two rebounds over 30 minutes Sunday during the Magic's 109-90 loss to the Suns. Making a second straight start for the injured Cole Anthony (shoulder), Carter-Williams couldn't build off his 21-point performance in Friday's win over the Kings. Due to the Magic's lack of other healthy point guards, however, Carter-Williams was still able to deliver a serviceable stat line, in spite of his poor shooting from the field. He'll likely continue to hover around the 30-minute mark so long as both of Anthony and Frank Mason (groin) are sidelined.

Carter-Williams is starting Sunday's game against Phoenix, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports. Carter-Williams returned to the court Friday after a lengthy absence, and he'll be in the starting five once again Sunday with Cole Anthony (shoulder) unavailable. With several players ruled out for Orlando on Sunday, Carter-Williams could be in line for plenty of minutes against the Suns.

Carter-Williams tallied 21 points (7-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds and seven assists in Friday's 123-112 win over the Kings. Carter-Williams missed Orlando's previous 19 games and was said to be on a minutes restriction Friday, but he showed little rust in posting a robust stat line over 27 minutes. The veteran point guard was especially effective in the third quarter, when he scored 15 of his 21 points and frequently maneuvered his way to the rim. Carter-Williams was averaging only 7.1 points per game prior to the early season foot injury, so it'll take more than one solid performance to put him on the fantasy radar.

Carter-Williams is starting Friday but will face a "pretty significant" minutes restriction, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports. Carter-Williams was removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's matchup after missing 19 games due to a foot injury. Although he'll start in his first game back, coach Steve Clifford said that his playing time will be restricted against Sacramento.
