  Roby will come off the bench Wednesday against the Spurs, Dan Weiss of Fox Sports Southwest reports. The 23-year-old started Monday and posted 12 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, an assist and a steal in 28 minutes, but he'll move back to the bench with Al Horford (rest) rejoining the lineup. Roby should operate as Oklahoma City's secondary option at center.

With Al Horford taking a seat for rest purposes, Roby drew the start Monday. The resurgent play of Mike Muscala from the bench was bound to also play a role in the absence, and the pair ultimately harmed each other's upside. While Roby is the better long-term fantasy option, Muscala's presence will continue to eat into his opportunities.

The Nebraska product's last start dates back to Wednesday against the Grizzlies, totaling 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 23 minutes of action.

Moving back to the bench after starting Wednesday's game, Roby posted his third straight double-digit scoring effort, while hitting multiple three-pointers for the second time this season. The 2019 second-round pick has emerged as a viable backup to Al Horford, and he makes for an appealing DFS pivot on nights when Horford is rested.
