Collins scored 11 points (2-8 FG, 7-12 FT) while adding 14 rebounds, an assist and a block in 29 minutes during Friday's 129-108 loss to the Celtics. It's the second-year big's sixth straight double-double and seventh in 13 games. Collins has made a big impact for the Hawks since recovering from ankle injury that cost him the first 15 games of the season, and he's establishing himself as an important part of their rebuilding efforts.
Colling finished with 20 points (10-22 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 17 rebounds, one assist, and one block in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 114-107 loss to Dallas. Collins continues to thrive for the struggling Hawks, putting up his fifth consecutive double-double including a career-high 17 rebounds. The breakout is on and those who drafted him are certainly being rewarded for their early season patience. The one downside to his game is his lack of defensive numbers but they will hopefully come as he gets more games under his belt.
Collins scored a game-high 30 points (12-20 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding 12 rebounds, five assists and a block in 33 minutes during Saturday's 106-98 win over the Nuggets. The 30 points were a career high for the 21-year-old, who led the Hawks to victory despite the fact that no other Atlanta starter even scored in double digits. Collins is on a roll, racking up four straight double-doubles, and the 19th overall pick in the 2017 is increasingly looking like a steal for the rebuilding franchise.
Collins produced 26 points (12-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and 14 rebounds in 31 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Wizards. Collins posted his third-straight double-double, and was able to hit multiple three-pointers for just the second time this year. Collins' stat line was empty outside of points and rebounds and it's mildly concerning that he's been unable to generate much in the way of defensive production so far. That said, Collins is one of the most exciting young players in fantasy, and has averaged 15.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 61.2 percent from the field and 80.8 percent from the line in nine games since returning from an early-season ankle injury.
Collins scored 24 points (11-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding 11 rebounds, two assists and a block in 30 minutes during Monday's 128-111 loss to the Warriors. It's his third double-double in the last five games, and his best scoring performance since recovering from the ankle injury that delayed the start of his campaign. Collins' game has taken a big step forward in his second NBA season, and he should continue claiming a larger role in the offense on a rebuilding Hawks roster.
