  • Theis will not play Thursday against Washington due to right foot soreness. Theis is one of several Celtics regulars who will get a breather Thursday as the team finishes up seeding play. Expect Robert Williams to start in Theis' place and see extended minutes, with Enes Kanter and Tacko Fall available off the bench.

  • Theis (foot) will be available Tuesday against Memphis. The big man was probable coming in, but coach Brad Stevens confirmed that he will have his full rotation available. Through six Orlando games, Theis is averaging 10.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in 27.7 minutes.

  • Theis is considered probable for Tuesday's game against Memphis due to a sore foot. The issue doesn't look to be anything of real concern, but the Celtics could exercise caution with the playoffs approaching. Theis played 30 minutes in Sunday's overtime win over the Magic, finishing with six points, seven boards and three blocks.

  • Theis compiled 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block in 28 minutes during Friday's 122-100 victory over the Raptors. Theis has been a top-80 player throughout the resumption and continues to quietly go about his work on a nightly basis. The efficient big man is by no means a flashy fantasy option but his role is secure and he has the ability to do a little bit of everything. His average production across multiple categories lends itself to roto formats as opposed to points leagues.

  • Theis produced 11 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block over 26 minutes in Tuesday's 112-106 loss to Miami. Theis continues as the Celtics' unheralded starting center, often providing the only low post presence for Boston. Through three Orlando bubble games, Theis has averaged 11.0 points, 6.3 boards and 1.3 blocks in 28.7 minutes per contest. Boston has no time to complain about the calls in the Heat loss, as the C's face Brooklyn on Wednesday night for the second of back-to-backs for both clubs.
