  • Ariza scored 20 points (6-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 38 minutes during Thursday's 114-75 Game 6 loss to the Spurs. Ariza was one of the few bright spots on a disappointing night for the Rockets, who were blown out at home to be eliminated from the playoffs. Ariza was a key contributor for the Rockets this season, playing 34.7 minutes per night and contributing across a wide array of categories.

  • Ariza compiled 16 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Sunday's 125-104 victory over the Spurs in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. Ariza was stellar from the field and served as an ideal complementary presence to James Harden on the first unit. Outside of an atrocious Game 2 showing (two points over 33 minutes), the veteran forward has been solid, averaging 18.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.6 steals in the other three games of the series. He'll look to keep the momentum going on the road in Game 5.

  • Rockets' Trevor Ariza: Drops 17 points Friday
    By RotoWire Staff

Ariza scored 17 points (6-15 FG, 5-12 3Pt) while adding five assists, five rebounds, and one steal across 46 minutes in Friday's 103-92 loss to the Spurs in Game 3. Ariza was hot in the first half, hitting all five of his made threes before the break. The team as a whole shot horrendously from the floor (36.4 percent), and Ariza certainly contributed to that in the second half. The Rockets have now been held to under 100 points in consecutive games after only letting it happen five times all year, so the team is going to need to get their offense going if they want to rebound in Game 4.

  • Ariza totaled 23 points (7-14 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals across 31 minutes during a 126-99 win over the Spurs on Monday. Ariza was excellent in Game 1, as he impressively totaled a game-high 23 points in the victory. The five three-pointers marked the most he's made in a game since March 26, and exceeded his combined first round total of just three three-pointers made. He wasn't very productive in the opening round series against the Thunder, but the veteran is armed with playoff experience and had a strong regular season, so this performance is not too surprising.

  • Rockets' Trevor Ariza: Breaks out of shooting funk
    By RotoWire Staff

Ariza posted 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with six assists, five rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal across 38 minutes in regular-season finale Wednesday against the Timberwolves. Ariza entered the game having hit just four of his past 22 field-goal attempts. He still has some work to do, but his 6-of-14 shooting performance at least has him trending in the right direction as the team prepares for a first-round playoff series with the Thunder.
