Raptors' Kyle Lowry: Propels team to fourth straight win

Kyle Lowry finished with 21 points (7-18 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and three steals across 43 minutes Monday in the Toronto Raptors' 101-92 win over the Jazz.Toronto was without Marc Gasol (hamstring) and Fred VanVleet (shoulder) and lost Norman Powell (ankle) early due to injury and OG Anunoby due to an ejection, but the team was still able to pull out a tough road win in the second half of the back-to-back set. Lowry was once again instrumental in the Raptors' victory, and he's now averaging 26.3 points, 7.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 triples and 2.3 steals in 37.3 minutes during the club's four-game winning streak. He'll get the chance to rest up for an extended period with Toronto now off the schedule until Saturday, when it hosts Detroit.

Raptors' Kyle Lowry: Puts up 30 efficient points

Kyle Lowry posted 30 points (10-15 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and three steals across 36 minutes Sunday in the Toronto Raptors' 118-113 win over the Kings.Lowry's numbers have been trending upward over the last five games, with the veteran point guard providing averages of 24.4 points, 7.6 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 three-pointers and 1.6 steals over that stretch. All of those figures except the assists are better than his season-long marks, and it's no coincidence that he's posted these numbers without high-usage backcourt mate Fred VanVleet (shoulder) running alongside him. VanVleet could be ready to play in the second half of the back-to-back set Monday in Utah -- the first of only two games this week for the Raptors. Toronto's light schedule along with the potential return of VanVleet combine to make Lowry far less of a no-brainer lineup option than usual, at least in weekly formats.
