  • Bucks' Danilo Gallinari: Not listed on injury report

Gallinari (recently signed) isn't listed on Milwaukee's injury report ahead of Friday's game against Minnesota. After being waived by Detroit, Gallinari signed with the Bucks ahead of the All-Star break and will be available for Milwaukee's first game of the second-half schedule. With Khris Middleton (ankle) still out, there should be minutes available for Gallinari off the bench, but it'd be surprising if his role was large enough to generate fantasy-relevant production.

  • Bucks' Danilo Gallinari: Heading to Milwaukee

Gallinari agreed to a contract with the Bucks on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Gallinari was waived by the Pistons last week and was considering offers from multiple contenders before ultimately deciding to sign a contract with the Bucks. He'll reunite with his former head coach, Doc Rivers, and should have an opportunity to carve out a decent role with his new team following the All-Star break. Gallinari made 32 appearances between the Wizards and Pistons earlier this year and averaged 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game.

  • Danilo Gallinari: Cut loose by Detroit

The Pistons will waive Gallinari on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Gallinari didn't join the Pistons in Portland ahead of Thursday's contest and will be cut loose to make room on the roster for the team's new trade acquisitions. He'll be free to sign with a team of his choosing upon clearing waivers, but it's unlikely the 35-year-old forward will command much fantasy value to close out the season. After missing the entire 2022-23 season while recovering from an ACL tear, Gallinari averaged 7.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 three-pointers in 14.8 minutes per game over his 32 appearances with the Wizards and Pistons while shooting 45.1 percent from the field.

  • Pistons' Danilo Gallinari: Won't play Thursday

Gallinari (not with team) won't play Thursday against the Trail Blazers. It's unclear exactly why Gallinari isn't with the team, but he's not a large enough part of the rotation for his playing status to impact fantasy hoops. His next chance to play will come Saturday against the Clippers.

  • Pistons' Danilo Gallinari: Surprise scoring leader off bench

Gallinari totaled 20 points (6-8 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 128-121 loss to the Cavaliers. Gallinari had largely been outside of the Detroit rotation since being acquired from the Wizards on Jan. 14, but he was pressed into extended minutes off the bench with Isaiah Stewart (ankle) ruled out for Wednesday's contest and with fill-in starter Mike Muscala (head) exiting the game in the first quarter. The 35-year-old Gallinari provided some much-needed floor spacing for Detroit and ended the night as the team's leading scorer off the bench. As a veteran on an expiring deal, Gallinari isn't likely to be a major priority for the 6-41 Pistons, but on the heels of his big performance, he could garner a start at power forward Friday against the Clippers if both Stewart and Muscala are sidelined.

  • Pistons' Danilo Gallinari: Cleared to play

Gallinari (trade pending) will be available for Wednesday's game against Minnesota. Mike Muscala has also been cleared to make his Pistons debut after he and Gallinari were acquired from the Wizards on Sunday in exchange for Isaiah Livers, Marvin Bagley and two future second-round draft picks. The Pistons are getting Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) back in the lineup Wednesday and are at full strength in the frontcourt, so it's hard to imagine Gallinari playing anything more than a limited role.

Gallinari and Mike Muscala were sent to Detroit on Sunday in exchange for Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers and two second-round picks, but the duo wasn't cleared to play in Monday's game versus Washington. As long as the logistics get cleared up, Gallinari and Muscala could debut Wednesday, but it's unclear how big their respective roles will be right away.

  • Pistons' Danilo Gallinari: Out for Monday's game

Gallinari (trade pending) won't play Monday against Washington. The Pistons and Wizards are both electing to hold out the players they acquired Sunday in the four-player deal that sent Gallinari and Mike Muscala to Detroit and Isaiah Livers, Marvin Bagley and two future second-round drafts picks to Washington. Gallinari and Muscala will get a chance to make their Detroit debuts Wednesday versus the Timberwolves.

The Wizards traded Gallinari and Mike Muscala to the Pistons on Sunday in exchange for Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers and two second-round picks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. In Detroit, he'll compete with Kevin Knox, Ausar Thompson, Joe Harris and Alec Burks for backup minutes behind Bojan Bogdanovic and Isaiah Stewart.

Gallinari has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game versus the Raptors due to lower-back tightness.
