Nuggets' Roy Hibbert: Will make debut with Nuggets on Sunday

Roy Hibbert will be active and available to play on Sunday versus the Grizzlies, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.Hibbert was dealt from the Bucks to the Denver Nuggets just prior to the trade deadline, but was held out Friday, as the team opted to give him some extra time to get settled in. However, Hibbert is fully expected to be available Sunday and should operate as the Nuggets third option at center. With Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee ahead of him on the depth chart, Hibbert will likely play just a minor role off the bench in Denver.

Nuggets' Roy Hibbert: Unavailable Friday versus Nets

Roy Hibbert (coach's decision) will not be available for Friday's game against the Nets, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.Hibbert, who was traded to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, apparently is dealing with transportation issues and won't be in Denver until late Friday night. His next chance to debut with his new team will come Sunday against the Grizzlies.

Nuggets' Roy Hibbert: Questionable to play Friday

Roy Hibbert (coach's decision) is listed as questionable to play in Friday's game against the Nets, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.Hibbert was traded from the Bucks to the Denver Nuggets Thursday but will remain a third option in the rotation behind starter Nikola Jokic and backup Mason Plumlee in Denver. Even if Hibbert is made active Friday night, he will likely remain on the bench, and his status won't have any impact on the team's regular rotation. Hibbert only becomes a semi-intriguing fantasy option this season if either Jokic or Plumlee suffer from injury, and even in that case, his impact would likely remain limited.

Nuggets' Roy Hibbert: Traded to Nuggets

Roy Hibbert will be traded from the Bucks to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday in exchange for a protected second-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.Hibbert will be making a stop to his third destination this season, after being traded from the Hornets to the Bucks earlier in February. He was buried on the depth chart for the Bucks and had yet to see the floor, although by moving to Denver, a huge bump in minutes shouldn't be expected. Hibbert will be nothing more than a third option behind Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee, which should render him useless in the majority of fantasy leagues. This deal was likely more about the salary cap situation than anything.

Bucks' Roy Hibbert: Inactive for Monday's win

Roy Hibbert (coach's decision) was inactive for Monday's 102-89 win over the Pistons.HIbbert was active for the Milwaukee Bucks' previous game Saturday against the Pacers, but didn't see the court against his former team. With Khris Middleton returning to action Monday following a one-game absence due to rest, it looks like Hibbert, who has yet to play since being acquired from the Hornets on Feb. 2, will occupy one of the Bucks' two inactive slots in most games. He'll be a free agent this summer and the Bucks evidently don't view him as part of their future plans.

Bucks' Roy Hibbert: Unlikely to make debut until next week

Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd said that Roy Hibbert won't be available for Friday's game against the Nuggets and is likely to be a healthy inactive for Saturday's game against the Suns, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Hibbert and fellow big man Spencer Hawes, who were both acquired Thursday from the Hornets in exchange for Miles Plumlee, still need to pass their physicals and aren't expected to join the Bucks until Saturday, and it seems Kidd is reluctant to use either player before they have an opportunity to practice with the team. Even without the services of Hibbert and Hawes for the next two games, the Bucks won't be short on center help with John Henson, Greg Monroe and Thon Maker still populating the depth chart. It may take several games for Kidd's center rotation to crystallize, but the existing depth along with Hibbert's declining performance in recent seasons and expiring contract could keep him out of the mix most nights.

Bucks' Roy Hibbert: Traded to Milwaukee

Roy Hibbert and Spencer Hawes will be traded to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, in exchange for Miles Plumlee, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. After starting the season as Cody Zeller's backup at center, Hibbert appeared to have been jumped by Spencer Hawes in the pecking order, as Hawes was seeing the bigger minutes load. On the season, Hibbert had posted averages of just 5.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and one block across 16.0 minutes per game. In coming to Milwaukee, Hibbert's value is only expected to decrease further, as the Bucks are crowded at the position with the likes of Greg Monroe and John Henson already available, while Thon Maker has also recently seen time at center. Spencer Hawes will be in the fold as well, so it's hard to see Hibbert fielding consistent minutes. The situation should be monitored moving forward in order to see how the Bucks end up distributing the playing time.

Hornets' Roy Hibbert: To come off the bench Wednesday

Roy Hibbert will come off the bench for Wednesday's matchup with the Warriors.Hibbert has started the last four games in place of Cody Zeller (quad), and while we've yet to receive word on Zeller's availability, the Charlotte Hornets have announced they're going to start Spencer Hawes at center Wednesday. Hawes was seeing the bulk of the minutes at center anyway, so Hibbert was already off the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of leagues. Once Zeller is back, Hibbert could see his role decline further.

Hornets' Roy Hibbert: Doesn't do much in start

Roy Hibbert posted six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT) with four rebounds across 17 minutes in Wednesday's 113-103 loss against the Warriors.Hibbert was starting in place of the injured Cody Zeller (quadriceps), but Spencer Hawes ended up logging more minutes off the bench and posting way better statistics. If Zeller is forced to miss additional time, Hawes, not Hibbert, is the way to go as a short-term seasonal fantasy solution and DFS value play.
