2016 Outlook: Mike Davis
Mike Davis is expected to compete for the No. 2 running back job behind Carlos Hyde this year for the 49ers. We see Davis as the No. 3 running back behind Hyde and Shaun Draughn, but Davis could see an expanded role if Hyde gets hurt. Davis struggled in limited action as a rookie in 2015 with 35 carries for 58 yards and seven catches for 38 yards in six games, so he has a lot to prove this year. Even if he is No. 2 on the depth chart Davis should not be drafted in the majority of leagues.
