Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Moseley (ankle) won't be back until Week 18 at the earliest, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Moseley's eligible to return from IR as early as Week 17 against Houston, but Shanahan says he won't be ready by then. If Moseley's back for the season finale against the Rams, he could use that game as an opportunity to knock off some rust before the playoffs, assuming the 49ers are able to make it.
