The Lions waived Parker on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Parker signed with the Lions as an undrafted free agent last offseason and made the team due to a litany of injuries in Detroit's secondary. He made the most of his opportunity by registering 50 tackles, seven pass defenses, one interception and one forced fumble across 13 appearances as a rookie. However, the undrafted cornerback now finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline.
