Burns (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official team site reports.
The cornerback was forced to miss Monday's loss to the Vikings after being placed on the COVID-19 list Dec. 14. Prior to being inactive in Week 15, he was coming off a strong Week 14 performance against the Packers where he registered a season-high nine tackles. Burns will look to pick up where he left off when the Bears see Russell Wilson and the Seahawks on Sunday.
