Bears' Matt Forte: Iffy for Week 10
Forte (knee), who will miss Monday night's game against the Chargers, is iffy for Week 10's road game against the Rams as well, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The report further notes that Forte -- who is dealing with a sprained MCL -- "had a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection in his right knee during the week in order to facilitate healing." Still, the running back's status beyond Monday's tilt is cloudy, which sets the stage for Jeremy Langford to head the Bears' rushing attack in Week 9, and possibly beyond, depending on how quickly Forte is able to bounce back from his injury.
