Poyer had three tackles, two passes defensed and an interception in Buffalo's season-opening win over the Jets.

The new-look secondary played well in this one, with Poyer and fellow safety starter Micah Hyde doing a nice job in stopping the Jets. That said, it was against Josh McCown, who's now 2-21 in his last 23 starts, so things will get a little more challenging when the Bills travel to Carolina this week. Poyer and Hyde were two of four Bills who played every defensive snap. Poyer, who was off to a good start with 39 tackles over six games before a kidney injury brought his season to an end, looks like he's back to his usual self.
