Bills' LeSean McCoy: Rested Friday, but not assigned Week 2 injury designation
Though rested at practice Friday, McCoy (wrist/groin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Per Chris Brown of the Bills' official site, McCoy was simply rested Friday, as the running back was dealing with some groin soreness. Despite that, coach Sean McDermott indicated Friday that he is "very confident" that McCoy will be able to handle a full workload Sunday. In Week 1 against the Jets, McCoy was on the field for 54 of the Bills' 77 snaps on offense, logging 22 carries for 110 yards and catching five of his six targets for 49 yards.
