Osweiler will sign with the Broncos on Saturday, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Unceremoniously cut by the Browns on Friday after a failed attempt to secure the starting job, Osweiler is returning to the place his career began. However, he's only expected to make near the league minimum -- a far, far cry from the $72 million deal Houston offered to pry him from Denver the first time around. With Chad Kelly (wrist) on NFI and Paxton Lynch (shoulder) set for a multi-week absence, Osweiler projects to fill in as the No. 2 signal caller behind Trevor Siemian.
