The Broncos placed Sterns (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Sterns returned to the field Sunday after he missed the Broncos' Week 15 loss to the Bengals due to a shoulder injury. It's not yet clear whether the safety has tested positive for COVID-19 or whether he'll be available for Sunday's Week 17 matchup against the Chargers.
