Peoples-Jones (groin) won't participate in Thursday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Though offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt expressed optimism earlier in the day that Peoples-Jones would be on the field Thursday in at least some capacity, the second-year wideout will take a step back in terms of activity after he was listed as a limited participant Wednesday. According to Ulrich, Peoples-Jones was spotted on a stationary bike during the open portion of Thursday's session, but it's not clear if he'll be able to do any positional or individual work behind the scenes. Peoples-Jones may need to return to limited activity or practice fully Friday to avoid being ruled out in advance of Sunday's game against the Lions.
