The Browns placed Clowney (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday.
News that Clowney tested positive for the virus first arrived Friday, but the Browns elected to wait a couple days to deactivate him. Given the timing of his positive test, Clowney seems unlikely to clear the necessary protocols ahead of Monday's game against the Raiders.
