Verner (personal), who lost his father on Friday, was credited with two solo tackles and also picked off Russell Wilson in Sunday's 14-5 win over the Seahawks.

The veteran was playing with a heavy heart but had pledged to dedicate the game to his late father, and he came through with a fitting tribute. Verner picked off a late second-quarter pass intended for Paul Richardson at the Bucs' 15-yard line, returning it 16 yards and denying Seattle a field goal attempt at a minimum. It was the seventh-year pro's first interception of the season, as he continues to serve as the third corner behind starters Brent Grimes and rookie Vernon Hargreaves.
