Barber rushed six times for 23 yards in Thursday's 13-10 preseason loss to the Redskins.
Barber played a modest 16 snaps, but that appeared to be more of a function of the Bucs wanting to see plenty of both Russell Hansbrough and fifth-round pick Jeremy McNichols, who is reportedly on the roster bubble. Barber saw plenty of action throughout the preseason and has a season of game tape under his belt, so he looks to be in relatively solid shape for a spot on the final roster.
