Buster Skrine: Let go by 49ers

Skrine was cut from the practice squad Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Skrine had only been with the 49ers for a couple of weeks. The 11-year vet was active Week 4, but he only played three special-teams snaps. Skrine was a regular in the Bears' defense the last two seasons and now will look to potentially continue his career elsewhere. In a corresponding move, San Francisco activated cornerback Davontae Harris from IR.
