The Cardinals placed Peterson on injured reserve Wednesday.
It was confirmed Sunday that Peterson suffered a concussion in the loss to Miami, so he'll require full medical clearance from the league's concussion protocol in order to be eligible to return. Peterson will spend at least the next three weeks on IR, and in his stead, look for Byron Murphy and Johnathan Joseph to handle increased roles.
