Cardinals' Michael Floyd: Notches 31 yards Sunday

Floyd (hamstring) pulled in two of five passes for 31 yards during Sunday's defeat in Atlanta.

For a player with vast potential, Floyd has been dismal in a contract year, tending to the occasional injury while contending with consistency issues. In Week 12, he was absent from practice Thursday and Friday due to a hamstring issue, which may have lingered from earlier this season. Whether or not that's the case, Floyd still garnered the second-most snaps (64 percent of those on offense) among Cardinals wideouts Sunday, but his production was again disappointing. With little rhyme or reason for his results to date, there's little reason to roll the dice on the fifth-year pro.
