Cardinals' Sage Surratt: Reverts to IR

Surratt (ankle) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday after getting waived Tuesday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.

The tight end will have to reach an injury settlement with the team to play in 2024. Surratt suffered the ankle injury during Arizona's preseason game against Denver on Sunday. He played his last college season in 2019 and has never appeared in an NFL game.
