Chargers' Kalen Ballage: Brought up to active roster

The Chargers elevated Ballage to the active roster Saturday.

Ballage has served on the Chargers' practice squad for nearly a month, and he'll finally be activated because Troymaine Pope (concussion) is considered doubtful. Justin Jackson and Joshua Kelley are expected to handle a bulk of the backfield reps, but considering Pope logged a 29 percent snap share and 15 touches last week, there's likely some work available for Ballage.
