Callaway (knee) is not expected to play in Saturday's preseason opener against the 49ers, according to Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star.
Callaway injured his knee in practice earlier this week, and it appears that will prevent him from taking the field Saturday night. It remains to be seen when Callaway will be able to rejoin the competition for a spot on the Chiefs' roster.
