Chiefs' Jaye Howard: Placed on IR

Howard (hip) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.

Howard has missed the Chiefs past three games due to hip issue and the team ultimately opted to end his season early. In eight games this year, Howard racked up 23 tackles and one sack. Kendall Reyes (knee) is likely to serve as Howard's replacement the remainder of the season.
