Head coach Andy Reid said Smith sustained a sprained right knee during Sunday's victory over the Bengals, Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star reports.
Smith injured his knee while playing on special teams during the second quarter. It looks like he's in store to miss at least a couple of games, which would thrust third-round rookie Dorian O'Daniel into a more prominent role on defense, particularly on passing downs.
