Wentz may have a minor surgical procedure on his injured foot, but he's still considering multiple options, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Even if he does have surgery, Rapoport adds that the quarterback wouldn't be likely to miss many games, if any at all. Still, it's a major obstacle for Wentz, an injury-prone QB coming off the worst season of his career and now leading a new team with playoff expectations. Jacob Eason filled in as the first-team quarterback at Friday's practice, while Wentz is scheduled to see foot specialist Robert Anderson in the near future, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. It may be a few days before Wentz and the Colts make a decision on a treatment/rehab plan.
