Colts' Daurice Fountain: Promoted from practice squad
A fifth-round pick of the Colts back in April, Fountain was unable to make enough of an impression in training camp and thep preseason to earn a roster spot. Indianapolis had kept him in the fold as a member of the practice squad, and he'll now get the opportunity to potentially play Sunday against the Texans due to the banged-up state of the Colts' wideout corps. Dontrelle Inman (shoulder) has already been ruled out for the contest and T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) is listed as questionable for the contest. An absence from Hilton on Sunday would almost surely keep Fountain off the inactive list, though it's unlikely the rookie would hold a significant role on offense if he suits up.
