Jefferson (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
Jefferson was signed to the Colts' active roster on Dec. 15, playing nine special-teams snaps in their Week 16 contest against the Cardinals. Mostly a depth piece in the linebacker unit, any potential absence would have little impact on Indianapolis' defense unless the team loses more players to COVID protocols over the coming days.
