Hines is dealing with a hip injury and won't practice Wednesday, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.

Hines has played all 48 games through three NFL seasons and wasn't reported to be dealing with an injury or recovering from surgery during the offseason. He's likely just dealing with a minor issue, but the Colts haven't provided details yet, apart from revealing that his absence from the first day of training camp was due to a hip injury. The team has impressive backfield depth, with Hines joined by Marlon Mack and Jordan Wilkins behind lead runner Jonathan Taylor.
