Parsons recorded four tackles, including two sacks, in Sunday's loss to Kansas City, adding a third QB hit and a forced fumble.
With Randy Gregory (calf) and DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) both still on IR, Parsons was once again forced to line up as an edge rusher more often than not, and his speed and athleticism gave Kansas City's tackles fits. The rookie is only the second player in the last 20 years to rack up 40-plus tackles and eight-plus sacks in his first 10 NFL games, joining Von Miller in a very exclusive club, and he's the only player in the league so far this season with 60-plus tackles and five-plus sacks. Parsons' next sack will also break the Dallas franchise rookie record of 8.0, set by likely Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware in 2005. In short, the Penn State product is doing things few other players in history have done, and Parsons has already established himself as the heart of the Cowboys' resurgent defense.
