Ross (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation by the Dolphins on Monday.
Ross signed with Miami in January after spending much of the 2021 season on New England's practice squad, though he recorded three tackles and played 57 defensive snaps over three gameday elevations. The 25-year-old will now have to sit out until the 2023 campaign, barring an injury settlement with the Dolphins.
