Cobb worked out for the Patriots on Friday, ESPN's Field Yates reports.
Cobb was released by the Titans earlier this week, but could be an interesting pickup for teams in need at running back. That's because Cobb was a fifth-round selection just last year, but had his rookie campaign largely derailed by a calf injury. In the end, he only played seven games, finishing with 146 rushing yards. With new management's additions of DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry this offseason, Cobb was unfortunately made expendable in Tennessee, but at only 23 years old, the jury could still be out on his ability, which he'll try to prove elsewhere this season.
