On Wednesday we completed the first Dynasty mock draft of 2022, a 12-team league where you start one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, a a tight end, and a flex. We went 16 rounds and, apologies to all you Evan McPherson fans out there, we didn't draft kickers or defenses.

Unsurprisingly, the first three picks were Jonathan Taylor, Justin Jefferson, and Ja'Marr Chase. There's plenty of room to debate what order those three should go in, but I would anticipate they'll be the first three picks in a majority of one-quarterback startups this offseason. After that it is completely up in the air.

Jacob Gibbs took A.J. Brown at No. 4, and while I didn't have Brown in my top-12 in the most recent Top 150 update, that may change next week. Brown was one of a handful of players who projected much higher in my way-too-early 2022 projections than I expected, so I'll be adjusting his place in the Dynasty rankings after the Super Bowl. There are legitimate questions about Brown's health, quarterback play, and offensive philosophy, but the talent is undeniable and he won't turn 25 until June.

Another name that drew a lot of comments when I shared the first round on Twitter was CeeDee Lamb. Lamb seemed to be a consensus top-three Dynasty receiver just a couple of months ago, but some were surprised to see him go as high as seventh in this draft. I was not one of those people.

Lamb is still just 22 years old and just posted 79-1,102-6 in his second full season as a pro. He's clearly behind Chase and Jefferson, but he has as good an argument as anyone for being WR3 and he should absolutely be a consensus top-12 pick in start ups.
