Sterns (knee) did not participate at practice Tuesday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
It's not clear when Sterns suffered the knee injury or how long it might keep him sidelined. Until he's able to return, rookie Andre' Sam could see increased opportunities at practice.
