Eagles' Jordan Matthews: Expected to play next week

Matthews has been diagnosed with a sprained right ankle but is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Bengals, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The sprained ankle forced Matthews from Monday's loss to the Packers and played a role in limiting him to just four receptions for 47 yards, but it appears he will be able to play through the setback. Matthews received double-digit targets in four straight games prior to Monday's contest, so he figures to be plenty involved again in Week 13 barring any setbacks with his ankle on game day or before.
